Disclaimer

  • We're independent. We aren't connected to, paid by or endorsed by any product we look at.
  • It's one visit. A teardown shows what we saw on the date given. The product may have changed since.
  • Grades are opinions. A C means "this is where it lost us", not "this company is bad".
  • Screenshots are real, drawings are marked. A real screenshot of a public page is tagged "screenshot" with the site and date. A screen we drew, usually because it sits behind a login, is tagged "redrawn". We never pass one off as the other.
  • Quotes are exact. Anything under "What Ayush said" is word for word.

Spot a mistake?

Tell us. A wrong fact, a misread screen, a product that has since fixed the thing we pointed at: all welcome.

How: write to hello@thecrit.world. Say which teardown and which slide, and what's wrong. A link or screenshot helps.

What we do:

  1. We check it against the product.
  2. If we got it wrong, we fix the page.
  3. We add a short note on that page saying what changed and when. We don't quietly rewrite.
